How to Send Files
Step 1 — Open the app
No account needed. Tap Get Started to enter the app anonymously.
Step 2 — Add your files
Tap Add Photos / Videos to select from your photo library, or Add Documents to pick files from the Files app. You can add multiple files in one transfer.
Step 3 — Upload
Tap Upload. One of the following will happen:
- Upvault Pro subscribers — upload starts immediately with no interruption.
- Free users — you'll be asked to watch a short ad before the upload begins.
Upvault encrypts your files on-device before sending them to the server.
Step 4 — Share the link
Once the upload is complete, a transfer link is displayed. Share it via Messages, email, AirDrop, or any other app.
Link expiry
Transfer links expire 24 hours after they are created. The recipient must download the files before then.
tip
The recipient doesn't need an Upvault account — they just open the link in a browser.
