Link Expiry

Every Upvault transfer link expires 24 hours after it was created. After that, the link is no longer accessible and the files cannot be recovered.

The transfer link will no longer open and the files are deleted from Upvault's servers. The recipient must request a new transfer from the sender.

Sending time-sensitive files​

If you need the recipient to have more time, send the link as soon as possible after uploading so they have the full 24-hour window. Let them know they should download the files promptly.

The link stopped working — is it expired?​

Yes, most likely. Check with the sender and ask them to re-upload and share a new link. If you believe the link was shared recently and should still be valid, see Download Not Working for other possible causes.
